Malignaggi said it best, you suspend him, fine him and require that he take year round testing for the next 2 yrs. If he tests positive at any point, you suspend him for an even longer period. Problem is, people don't want to catch him for fear of losing $. If Canelo were clean, I think he'd sign up for vada year round testing himself but so far, no word of that.

He might pull the a modified version of the "WBC imposing artificial deadlines" line he used when ducked Golovkin. Something like "I'm the injured party in this. I stand on principal and refuse to be subjected to the indignity of blood testing." Oscar will dream up something. He's got this.

Canelo is arrogant and cheated on weight often during his career. He made up his own weight division. Thumbed his nose at the WBC. The same WBC that negotiated with Golovkin to get him to step aside and let the Cotto Canelo fight happen. Won the Middleweight title at a catchweight from a guy who won it at a catchweight. When it dawned on him that Golovkin was coming for the title and would not accept a catchweight his team panicked and dropped the title. His been a manipulator through out his career so this is no surprise.
