I had it 116-112 for Wright and a friend who was sitting watching with me had it 115-113 Wright.Bottom line is Winky beat Taylor more than Taylor beat Hopkins in either of their fights so I don't want to hear no more **** about the 12 round that clearly Taylor did less than Winky in but Winky is getting all the flack for not taking it to him.........A draw is acceptable because it was pretty close but Wink won the fight and Taylor knows it too. -

116-112 Wink.
The 12th round argument is asinine. Forget "Taylor didn't do anything either," which he DIDN'T, but Winky DID do some things in the round. How about the first 5 seconds of the round where he jabs Taylor into a corner and throws a few punches? He was NOT going backwards the entire round, just in spots, and in spots AFTER throwing jabs and left hands and landing a couple. Taylor landed NOTHING of significance in the round and the "flurry" he had toward the end was incredibly effectively BLOCKED by Winky. Winky gave the 12th round away? Nonsense. He changed his style, chose to BOX and MOVE rather than STALK, BOX and throw combinations. How many rounds have guys like Hopkins, Mayweather and Pernell Whitaker won rounds like that? Oh, but not against everyone's favorite Olympian.
There has to be a rematch unless Wink fights Calzaghe instead, you cannot blame him if he does that, because it will be a much more dangerous fight up another weight class for the undisputed 168 title. In his mind and mine (as well as many others) he's already undisputed at 154 and even though I still see Hopkins as the middleweight champ, it now SHOULD be Winky. Talk about a potential triple crown.
A rematch in Vegas in December would be nice.Comment

So you would have to think that Taylor won neither fight vs. Hopkins, correct?
I hope this is not Taylor hypocrisy. People using this argument HAVE to believe LOGICALLY that Hopkins should still be middleweight champ.Comment

Im assuming you gave Winky rounds 1, 3 and 9 as well.Originally posted by cupcrazy01116-112 Wink.

There were about 6 or 7 really close rounds in this one.Comment

After you explained it, it makes sense why you had Winky up by 6 points.
And Raesaad...get over the damn Hopkins fight. Hops lost. Period. He shoulda fought harder if he wanted the W.
My friend Usman had it 115-113 for Taylor. I haven't scored it yet, but it's very obvious that people need to stop whining...the fight was close and it is up the the viewer's discretion what to give more credence to: less-powerful, high volume punches or harder, less-oft landed punches.Comment
