Knock GGG out within 40 secs.

GGG went to the morgue and dragged out a corpse to batter on May 5th.

This cherry pick makes Garcia/Salka seem decent in comparison.

Lil g can't prepare for his mandatory in short notice but Vanes can prepare for Golovkin in three weeks. Shameful.

This abomination should not even be sanctioned.

I don't think Vanes actually retired, man. Possibly been blackballed a little though, hard to say..

Hasn't fought in 2 years. No fights scheduled. No fights on the horizon. That's retired

Retired guys ain't looking for fights and probably step back on the training, there is a difference. Ain't no one serious calling this a good fight, but there's not really any need to spin extra reasons to trash it. A two year lay-off is a massive liability and doesn't need to be changed into 'retirement' for that to be the case.

But it's not like he's on a 2 year layoff because of injuries or promotional issues. He had no fights lined up. No fights on the horizon. And his trainer is Rousey's former trainer ffs. Even if he never announced an official retirement he was essentially retired

Meh. It's a point of detail and probably doesn't really matter, but it's still a factual inaccuracy an you got in it the thread title.

And quite possibly it is promotional issues - or something - has the dude even got a promoter since he left Haymon and Brown? Certainly he says he's been looking for fights, but not having a promoter would count as 'promotional issues' in my book, and could prove a major hinderance to getting fights even if uncle Al doesn't bear grudge.
