You make a great point. Mayweather though, imo, has seemed likable at times. Broner not so much. He really gives us nothing to like at all. It's like it's his sole intention to get under your skin. There's something crazy about that.

He's funny as ****. Sometimes. Other times you just feel a bit sorry for him. But he entertains which is the main thing.

You can't watch the camera scroll past him on this video and not laugh.

Very true. I think he’ll continue to get good fights like Mayorga did, simply because people wanna see him get his ass beat.

It's a very lucrative strategy. He's only 28 and gets plenty of hate at this point. In the coming years, he may even get shot at. Either way, he's a draw...

It obviously works. Just look at Floyd, it works a lot better if you keep winning though, people were way more invested in AB pre Maidana cause they were desperate to see him lose. The fact that Broner has lost so many fights and still remained relevant proves how good of a “heel” he is.

That's what I'm thinking, too, man. I mean, obviously, he needs a solid, unquestionable win over a good opponent as soon as he can get it. If he truly becomes a gatekeeper, then he does lose his power. He's teetering on that, but he gave just enough to make it a draw and cause even more fans to hate him, hoping he loses a rematch. Picture if he wins a rematch and gloats. The hatred grows once again.

Exactly, losing to the P4P elite fighters like Mikey doesn’t really hurt his status but a loss to Vargas would take him down a level. I hope he wins the rematch, I like Vargas but the sport needs characters and AB is definitely a character.
I wish they’d match him better though I feel PBC are ready to pull the plug on AB, I always saw Vargas as a high risk/low reward type of fight. I’d just let him beat up on guys with a bit of name recognition like Rios and Ortiz. They’d be fun fights and the build up would be hilarious.

Yes it would be. I'd like to see him fight Thurman. I could see him making fun of One Time a lot. Build up would be great, no matter what happens in the ring. I don't see it happening but it would be funny.

Yeah that’d be a decent 3 fight plan, Ortiz, Rios and then the bigger fight/payday against Thurman.
I know they’re friendly but I’ve always wanted AB vs DSG. Broner and Angel Garcia going at it during the pressers would be quality😂😂
