Rematch between Adrien Broner and Jessie Vargas MUST be at 147 lbs

It seems to me that people are completely neglecting the fact that Vargas had to cut 3 extra pounds for that one it might have very well been the reason why he gassed in the mid late rounds. Jessie is a big guy and 144 is low for him. Broner fought at 147 before so why not fight Vargas at 147 or even 145? What do you guys think?

I'd prefer it at 147 in the rematch as well. Don't get why Broner would want to fight at 140 anyway. He's probably a bit better there, but all the money fights are at 147. Who else does PBC have that could make him big money at 140?? Just commit to 147 and stay there

Absolutely.. The guy won imo and should be allowed to make the fight at his weight. You can tell it had an effect on vargas who usually fights with a real good pace through all rounds. If they have a rematch that's the weight it should be.

Broner fights at 140. Vargas was a late replacement so they compromised at 144. If anything the next fight should be at Broner's weight.

OK, but how much money is he going to make to fight Kiryl Relikh or Mario Barrios? There's nobody for him at 140, 147 has options up the ass that all make him a ton of cash. Spence, Garcia, Vargas, Peterson, Berto, Rios, Ortiz, Alexander etc. Dudes that are actually known by casual fans

Broner doesn’t want to campaign at welterweight. He doesn’t make the cut especially with how deep the division is at the moment. He fights at catch weights because he can’t make the original weight but he doesn’t want to concede for the other fighter a la Canelo when he had Canelo weight at 155.

When he fought Granados it was scheduled to be at 140but he forced him to make it 144 only way you can make Broner fight at the real weight is by simply being a fighter that has someone behind them like, if your not successful Broner will just walk through you with his team including the god Al Haymon
