Saunders didn't want the fight.He pulled out of every fight in 2016,3 fights and considered quitting. He was fat. When he did fight in November, he didn't even have a real trainer. He looked awful and admitted he was. Hes been better with Ingle. But he still wasnt rejected in favour of Brook and no amount of limbo dancing makes that a reality. As for when Canelo was ready to fight him, would you really have rather he fought Saunders in Kazakhstan then instead? This was coming off the back of 3 pullouts and a stinker, fight him instead of, what at the time, was the most eagerly awaited fight in boxing? Billy won't beat Golovkin btw.
