    Comments Thread For: Showtime's Espinoza: Broner Really Can't Afford Another Loss

    Adrien Broner danced as music pumped through headphones, a large smile and sunglasses affixed to his face during introductions. Then Jessie Vargas spoke, his opponent in the welterweight fight at the Barclays Center on Saturday night. And Broner's outlook changed.

    This is gonna be some good s*#t. Broner knows how to make noise so the casual fans can watch his fights. Tank is a good feature and the charlo match is a bonus. Other fighters can't do that. They rely on the promoter that will cut them when they lose or tix sales are low.

      I'm rooting for Broner.
      But he could get KO'd in this fight if he doesn't use his feet.
      Sadam Ali was a pretty movable guy, but still got caught with Vargas' straight rights, one of which almost stopped Bradley.

        There are plenty of good fights for A.B @ 140 even after another loss with names such as  : Jose Carlos Ramirez, Viktor Postol, Regis Prograis, Josh Taylor, Antonio Orozco, Ivan Baranchyk  -- as long as he keeps drawing high ratings the networks will have him on.

          He's right. If Broner loses this, I believe he enters Journeyman status. He becomes the up and comer's step-up fight.

                How will this fight play out? I'll just say this;

                : 1
                : 0

                    The winner is the new Haymon gatekeeper for the next few years.
