Comments Thread For: Tete Dares Burnett To Fight, Eyes Inoue vs. McDonnell Winner

World Champion Zolani Tete says the best should fight the best after once again calling on a unification bout with Belfast's Ryan Burnett. The South African hotshot puts his WBO Title on the line as he faces veteran Argentine Omar Narvaez on the undercard of Carl Frampton v Nonito Donaire this Saturday night live on BoxNation.

I believe Ryan Burnett fights Naoya before Zolani. Tete needs to be calling out Inoue also after Naoya dropped his name -- the first and only name he spoke before moving up to bantamweight, further as the former WBO 'Superfly' Champion he would of got first dibs at Tetes 118 WBO title, and even if that wasn't the case I know Zolani Tete would of gave him the shot on the strength!

Zolani needs to keep exposing these cowards, a shame he does not do enough video interviews if hes really trying to air these frauds out!

With Nery overweight and stripped, bantamweight is wide open. Tete is a bit overrated since he's unproven at this weight. But Tete against any of the top three or four guys is a great fight. Tete is fun to watch. And I love how he wants to fight the best, unlike many of these joke so-called champs today.

He's a class act and got all the other top guys trying to avoid him.

Can't massively blame them he's the classic high risk low reward kind of fight.

Hopefully he gets a big fight somehow

Tete’s promoter Frank Warren has an outstanding offer to Matchroom, Burnett’s promoter, where he will cover the cost of ‘Last Born’s’ purse, allowing the Irishman to be paid more, as well as a top-up £20,000.

Matchroom boss Eddie Hearn, however, has consistently stated that the match-up is too financially unappealing

That article does not help your stance, once again Eddie Hearns demanding the rival to fighter others opponents first!

I dont see Tete doing much to Inoue.

He is struggling to KO an old midget in narvaez.

That was a outrageous match up tbh. A 42 year old ex flyweight fighting a bantamweight 6 inches taller than him.

This type of **** is bad for boxing. Did nothing for Tete, even if he won again with 1 punch.
