haha seriously whats the point of having a pic in your av of a punch that didn't even land?
there must be a trend...maybe he can get one of taylor landing on winks gloves or something next.Comment

That's hilarious because Taylor was the one who stayed in the ring instead of fleeing and acting like he was robbed like a sore loser is wont to do (Fernando Vargas, Erik Morales, etc). To further disprove your theory, Wright was the one who said he didn't want a rematch...something that someone who BELIEVES THEY WON THE FIGHT has never ever in the history of boxing said when in the role of the challenger.Originally posted by King Jaffe JofferTaylors the one who sounded like a beaten man. Taylor's camp said there won't EVER be a rematch
Well just so you know. I just read a little while ago Taylor's camp also said the rematch would NEVER happen. That they'd search for someone else and "Knock him out". Hmmm... Could it be that using your line of thought they too, may be afraid of fighting? Of course not! They just angry at Winky right?! Tell me how's that different from Winky also being angry and saying he won't fight a rematch. Of course you mentioning it's in the role of a challenger means you're quite aware of that situation yourself eh?Originally posted by DiegoFuegoThat's hilarious because Taylor was the one who stayed in the ring instead of fleeing and acting like he was robbed like a sore loser is wont to do (Fernando Vargas, Erik Morales, etc). Their obvious startegy was to try and over power winky. Taylor ditched his jab and tryed to swing for the fences every time. He had some great combos and such, but winky won the technical side of the fight. I am sure they counted on winkys being mr featherfist and taylor being able to over power him and KO him. Winky walked Taylor down and jabed him all night and got him on the ropes and let loose. It was indeed a close fight, i saw it for winky. Winky didn't do much in the 12th , but I think he did more than Taylor. All I can really say is Taylors last 3 fights have not really impressed me. he hasn't won convincingly and is getting gifts IMHO.Comment

That punch is landing on Hopkins, on the back of his head a bit. Also, it's not Taylor's fault that the camera men did not catch him landing a good shot. Although I'm sure there is a good pic of a clean jab somewhere, as Taylor landed several in the fight.
In any case, Winky was getting hit plenty last night. Taylor went around the guard often enough to hurt Winky and mess his face up.
Everyone needs to move on. The fight's a draw and that's fair. If Winky wants to set the record straight, he can take a rematch.Comment

i lost money on taylor, but i'm not mad at him... i'm more disapointed in wright's childish behavior.... a close fight is not a robbery just cause it didnt go your way... and if you dont fight the championships rounds while trying to take the champ's title, you dont deserve to win those rounds...Comment
