Does this just mean that Wilder isn't going to get paid from the cancelled Povetkin fight? Or does this mean he has to pay this out of his own pocket?

settlements liek this one go into escrow until the appeals processes are over and done. the money was sitting in a bank account and he wasn't likely allowed to touch any of it.

You're reading a press release from his promoter. Ryabinski is claiming Povetkin was cleared because he was returned to the WBC rankings after the investigation that determined it was impossible to tell if Povetkin used meldonium after the Jan 1st date.

Ryabinski has tried to use that as a way to clear Povetkin. Since then Povetkin failed another drug test. Maybe you're naive & was born yesterday. I wasn't
