You're also confusing the roles of the sanctioning bodies (enforcers) & promoters (to make money). This is exactly what Abel is saying, for the sanctioning bodies & testing agencies to actually have more stringent rules in place to prevent this from happening in the future & penalize those that break them, not a slap on the wrist. You're suggestion is just spiteful & counterproductive to what every boxer is ultimately after. It's up to Canelo to convince us that he's a clean fighter, we're all waiting. The harshest penalty is really for Canelo to be served his just dessert in the ring. A good beat down would cement his poor public opinion & elevate GGG's even more. this is what really drives sales anyway. Think you need to get a grip.

Sanchez speaking truth. I hope that GGG doesn't fight cheating Clenelo untill it's mandated by a sanctioning body. There's other fine fights to make.
Furthermore having Clenelo as mando ensures a better monetary split for GGG.

Definately once caught they should have to go on 365 VADA testing and if they dont they shouldnt be able to compete.
Canelo probably using right at the moment for his next upcoming fight.
Boggles the mind sometimes what these supposed agencys trying to cleanup the sport.
As soon as enough money is involved anyone can be bought.

Abel talks too f#cking much for me, but he's got a great point this time & one I agree with him 100%.
If we are legit trying to stop/curb PED usage then there are things that need to happen. And one of them is clearly doubling down on mfers who've been caught using a PED already. Anyone caught using PEDs should have extra eyes & testing on them for some set period of time if not the rest of their careers. That now should include Canelo due to his recent situation & the fact he's not being tested now DOES make boxing look like a joke sport.

Canelo has no belt. GGG insulted a lot of fighters calling them "businessman" now look at him. Canelo is such a cheater that GGG is willing to grant him another shot at his belts when there's more worthy opponents like Jacobs, Charlo and BJS. but Canelo brings the money. GGG/Abel have no integrity. All of this is phony outrage. You know how you punish a cheater.. dont give him a chance to win 3 fckn belts in one night. That's how.

Pretty sad that boxing is this way. The WBC is so crooked it's not even funny, nor surprising. Of course they would look out for their own.
This won't ever really stop with these separate sanctioning bodies having their own rules. Again, the idea of a true national commission comes to mind, but it would take a lot of people and interested parties to make it a reality. It's hard to do because boxing is a global sport, but changes to the industry would have to be made to create an NBL here in America.
