Spike is a soft touch. Vanes is a blatant cherry pick

    Understand the difference.

Spike= Not a great fight but he's been in with Saunders and Eubank Jr. A soft touch

Vanes= Not a MW. Hasn't fought in 2 years. Coming off a loss. Roy Jones Jr has won 4 fights since Vanes last win.

    You see the difference?

Both are cherry picks. Spike is proven to have zero business being in with anybody decent. His two L's were embarrassingly one sided.

There wouldn't be any "cherry-picks" if someone else didn't cheat and pop positive for Clen. C- trolling.

Both are **** fights - it should have been Derevyanchenko provided he was prepared to fight for his basic mando's split.

Regardless, Spike refused the reduced pay when the switched to regular HBO so it's kinda moot. If you can't afford steak you gotta settle for cherries.

True but I was trying to give them a little credit for attenpting to fight a MW. But after Spike they started talking Mungia & Vanes. I slandered Andrade on here for weeks saying they should ignore him and continue down the Spike path. But once you start talking Mungia & Vanes you gotta at least give Andrade a courtesy call

Just comes down to Spike not wanting to fight for free. Likely not many guys wanted to either with HBO calling for this on a shoestring budget.

Ultimately though, if after this fight GGG fights BJS and Canelo, the only people who will still bring up this fight will be certified haters.

Some of it is money. I'm not defending it but I think HBO likes how Tom Loeffler can put on shows for peanuts. Just look at the superfly cards. I wanna see what the purses are for this.

Korobov? He could have been called. He's just as desperate as Vanes.
