Yeah you would probably know much better than me about the live gate.

The fight against Rubio I can understand the large gate with two punchers fighting and especially one of those fighters being Mexican.

But if the live gates were good against two black non punchers he must be a draw in LA.

    I stand corrected

Explain the gates for Rubio, Wade and Monroe then. None of those guys was Aremenian and the fans at the Rubio fight all came for GGG not Rubio.

GGG is not a PPV star without a superstar opponent (who is these days let's face it) but he's a success at the gate.

He had the best selling Stub Hub gate and the best at The forum. His ticket sales were excellent at MSG big room twice too in addition to selling out the 02 in London fast and according to posters here that went to that fight it was GGG selling the tickets fast not Brook.

Too many fans around here want every fighter to fight in front of empty crowds with no viewership on TV. Aren't we Boxing fans wanting to see the sport do well?

right. **** main event, but it's stub hub center in may, it's gonna be gorgeous. it's not a bad deal for 100.

but FFS golovkin is fighting vanes martyrosian after a two year layoff. the guy was dead average in his prime and he' was a 154 lber!

i doubt it. he's coming off of a long layoff and he's never been all that mobile. the guy has only a few weeks to gameplan and spar, and let's hope he is on weight! golovkin has slowed down a lot, but the jab is one of the last things that goes, and he can still walk vanes down and put leather on him, i'll bet.

Haters just cant control themselves... Their hate for a fighter or their male groupie attitude makes their mind messed up.

Im not happy for the fight, but its a short notice fight... Its isnt THAT bad.

Not saying its a good fight but cant complain since theres 2 weeks left...
