As previously reported on BoxingScene.com, Eleider Alvarez will finally get his world title fight, but it will not be against Adonis Stevenson. The promoters for both fighters confirmed that Alvarez (23-0, 11 KOs) will go up against Sergey Kovalev (32-2-1, 28 KOs) for the light heavyweight title of the World Boxing Organization (WBO).

Pascal and Kovalev walked away from their mandatory spot! the fight was there for them but they didn't want it with 'Superman'! both of them could of gone to purse bid, ( Kovalev walked away when the WBC ordered it ).

Eleider Alvarez was the mandatory and could of called for a purse bid or sue the WBC! but instead he stepped aside for lucrative fights against fellow Canadians in Pascal and Bute ; the World Boxing Council got fed up of this BS and called for another eliminator vs. Oleksandr Gvozdyk because Eleider was sitting on his spot refusing to move while other contenders careers were put on hold.

Bro, Stevenson/Kovalev was agreed to, then he runs over to Showtime and ****s up the deal. He was supposed to fight Pascal and Hopkins, but ducked both for Fonfara and Bika.
