Too late! He could already be cycling for September. Cancel that date as well.

That's what I thought but he was actually going to fight for their belt in the rematch and he still wasn't enrolled. They let him do whatever he wants. It's in the rules that to fight for the belt you have to be in the program, but the WBC does not enforce it for their favorites like Canelo, Al Haymon, etc. Same thing happened with Aleem-Khytrov that's why Aleem knocked him out, then when he was tested he got knocked out by Centeno who isn't half as good as Khytrov. And I'm betting there is interesting stuff going on behind the scenes with other Al Haymon WBC fighters like Stevenson and Wilder if anyone takes a close enough look at the details. Just a guess....Comment

I agree. You know I don't like him but if he does enroll it will go a long way to erase some of the damage done to his reputation. If he doesn't then he is ****ed.Comment

This could all be a distraction anyway, get everyone up in arms that "Canelo needs to be in the CBP" so once Canelo agrees to it, they can be like "See! We're doing exactly what we're supposed to!"
In reality, the CBP was supposed to be the bare minimum. He was supposed to be in that YESTERDAY. He was supposed to be in that BEFORE he tested dirty. What he's supposed to be in NOW is the Luis Ortiz program, the EXTRA, "ENHANCED" testing, where you get tested far more often, and with stricter tests, because you are on probation and have a known history of cheating.
Unless Canelo does THAT program, then it's all bull****. Ortiz had to do it, so should Canelo.Last edited by Boxing Logic; 04-19-2018, 07:57 AM.Comment

golden boy wasted no time in putting out a press release stating that Canelo would be fighting on the Sept Mexican holiday weekend. Wouldn't that have been the perfect time to also include, he will be enrolled in testing immediately leading up to that fight to prove that he is a clean fighter? Imo, right after that hearing was done, they should've announced that they'd enroll in year round testing as a show of good faith. Especially since his punishment was pretty leniant.Comment

nope
I said that NSAC should have ORDERED him to undertake 365 testing for the rest of his life..... and he should pay for the testing himself
or at least for a year (MORE)..... like that Japanese fighterComment
