WOW, I can't believe Alvarez agreed to take this fight. He's been a mandatory to Stevenson for so long, he's risking everything against a very dangerous opponent. I think folks will be very surprised at how good Alvarez is. If he's a big underdog, I'd put a bet on him.

Nothing to do with the quality of either champs, but I would have much rather taken the step aside money first, essentially getting paid for NOT fighting, and waiting for my Stevenson shot, or taken the Kov fight anyway. Regardless I would’ve got my step aside fee first.
