Since a potential Carl Frampton v Oscar Valdez fight was first mentioned back in September, the Northern Irishman has a strong desire to face the Mexican. Saturday's bout with Nonito Donaire will be for the WBO Interim Featherweight belt, so a potential match-up with Valdez, who holds the full World Title, could be in play for later this year.
