Not many casuals know who Naseem is to be honest. Probably a bit like wilder to the US public.

Ricky Hatton obviously is much better known as a tryer, personally I think he was overrated still though

Some UK people honestly rate Naz as one of the greatest talents of all time. Hatton is seen by most as a likeable guy who wasn't quite elite (but in a great era).

Probably Naz overall, but some people rate them similarly.

I rate Naz as the biggest talent i've seen in UK boxing. He had exceptional ability and you could easily argue he didn't get near fulfilling it.

Hatton, the opposite, less talented but made the most of what talent he did have.

Maybe not anymore but Naz was freaking huge man. Hatton is more fresh in peoples memory though.

I think everyone knew an every man like Hatton would get beat.

I remember as a kid thinking Nas couldn't lose.

Yeah this is my take also.

Naz was very brash, which doesn't always go down well here. A lot of people tuned in hoping to see him get knocked out.

Hatton was more heart on your sleeve honest battler. A lovable guy with a big heart.

I loved watching both of them. Naz was by far the greater talent though. He was a one off.

An answer that depends on who you ask.

If you ask me, Naz was the superior fighter, has a better overall legacy and is one of the greatest 126 pounders of all time. Plus he revitalised boxing in the late 90s, was a star on both sides of the pond AND was teh first to introduce that level of money in the lower divisions, still somewhat unmatched in that regard.

Ricky got beaten by Floyd, Naz was schooled by MAB... so imo neither at the elite level were at the top.

True, but Naz's talent was top-drawer. If he had the discipline of someone like Floyd, he could have been undisputed champion at 126 for years.
