Rigo brought no money to the table so it's not a surprise it never happened.
But the fact is, they never went into negotiation to see what was possible. For them to just throw out assumptions without looking at the possibilities was a clear avoidance by Frampton's management. If Donaire and Lom and others were able to line up fights with Rigo, Frampton's team could have as well. But fights are not negotiated through the media; they happen at tables with all or some of the team members, and interpreters where and when needed and proposals.

Lomachenko uses one and he seems to be doing great I'd say.

Rigo isn't the sort to bend on the money issue. He would have asked for far too much and stuck to his guns. You know what he's like. The Loma fight took ages to put together for this very reason.

You're assuming what he would have asked for. It never got that far. This wasnt a Donaire or Lom fight where Rigo had leverage to ask for a very large amount of money. It was against the lesser known at the time Framton whose team considered Rigo a risk and didnt even try to negotiate with arguably the best fighter at that weight, a fighter that Frampton himself claimed was THE best.

Secondly, I’m not sure of your size, and I’m no fan of Frampton, but I’d bet the farm that little Carl Frampton(who is small but is an elite world level fighter) would beat the brakes off you were trying to call time out or quit or jump thru the ropes out of the ring a la Charlie Zelenoff. In fact your post talking about how you would eat up a pro fighter reminds me a lot of ol Charlie Z’s unintentionally hilarious videos where he leaves Wilder voicemails talking **** and telling him he will knock his ass out.
Anyways, if your post was completely sarcastic, my bad. It went right over my head. And I’d give you props for a hilarious post. If it wasn’t sarcastic, well....
Charlie Z is indeed a nut-job calling tha champ Deontay 'Bronze-Bomber' Wilder, but Carl Fraudton can live in my shoe! I don't care how skilled you believe he is I would own Fraudton! I knock him out in one round!

James 'Chunky' Degale is not appreciated by the UK, he has done more for British boxing than all those bums you cheer for!

I think that Framptons insecure because of his size you can tell he wishes to be bigger or normal sized over the way he is now.

Donaire was on his game at Junior Bantamweight but at featherweight I doubt Frampton is going to need a psychologist or even a manicurist, physicist or any other "ist".

Rigo would have asked for a large amount of money for Frampton as well. This was at the time where Rigo thought he was a big name player and deserved the kind of money that came with that. But he couldn't even sell tickets and no one really gave a damn about him because all he used to do was put on stinkers.

But we obviously disagree, so we'll just leave it at that.

Again, you are assuming he would have asked for an amount that could not be met. Only a true negotiation could prove that and it never happened - Frampton's team never tried to make the fight against the fighter Frampton said was "THE BEST, AND TO BE THE BEST YOU HAVE TO GO THROUGH RIGO" and he never did that.
