That Provodnikov vs. Bradly fight was something else. I've watched that fight like 10 times! It wasn't pretty but man did those guys throw down. It's been a while since I've seen it but I thought Ruslan won that fight. I always wanted great things for Ruslan after that display.

Ruslan is still one of my favorites. We as fans just don't get the gift of that kind of fighter very often at all he was something unique. A true throwback fighter that cared about boxing, pride, glory and their fans. Wish some of the decisions in his career went his way like the Bradley fight. But that's business. I'll still support him in whatever he decides to do.

that fight exposed him for being nothing but a come forward brawler.

Man that fight was insane, i still struggle to understand how Bradley can have his eyes rolled back to whites, be in another dimension yet somehow someway he is still standing and throwing punches on pure muscle memory.

None of Ruslan's fights are easy and they were Wars which eventually will catch up to him and his brain ...he needs to put a timetable on when he's going to stop or he will not have a long life

Yes! Please come back at 147, there are just too many good possibilities for action fights against other guys that are similarly past it. PLEASE come back Ruslan

There wasn’t much to expose. It was plain to see from watching him fight for 5 minutes in any of his fights that he was acome forward brawler who didn’t spend much time or effort at all in eluding punches except for the occasional duck/crouch when his opponent was really loading up and throwing huge shots, and occasionally Ruslan would slip/duck those shots but the majority of the time he blocked punches with his face. But that’s what makes him even more amazing to me. In spite of his lack of defense, he had an indomitable will, a legendary iron chin, and an ungodly amount of heart. It’s because of those attributes that in spite of his lack of defense, he came very close to beating(many feel he won) Bradley, who I believe was a P4P level fighter at the time if I’m not mistaken.

Russian became a totally different fighter in that fight, WA throwing combinations like crazy, never seen that from him before or after that fight.

                      That fight was insane.
