He is not very feel for Russia.

Check his social media; Usyk is a patriot. No surprise he balked at fighting in Russia. Too many political implications to add on top of the possibility of getting robbed in a decision.

The situations aren't similar.

Usyk has been very outspoken about Russia, particularly with regards to the annexation of Crimea and he's very Pro-Ukrainian. There's still a lot of bad blood between those countries.

He knows he'd basically be down 2 rounds on the cards to start the fight.
