-----------------------------------------------------------------this was my thoughts on the fight before the fight, and since it was a close fight it makes this seem a little more right.
although Taylor didn't win, i'm next to sure this is why he didn't lose his belts tonight. also you can consider it a win since he still is champ, on paper at least.
    discuss.....?

unpredictable indeed! this is a pick'em kind of fight. there are good points and iffy points on each fighter.

it's going to be a tough fight, and i think it's going to be even tougher for winky. boxing wise yes, but more so political.

boxing wise they're damn near equal give or take a bit here and there, but taylor is HBO's cash cow. there is more money to be made with taylor than there is with winky.

    network thinking here :
1: taylor is more exciting to watch
2: taylor has an olympic background
3: taylor is going to be boxing longer than winky/ more money to be made
4: hbo has invested more money in taylor than they have winky
5: taylor is and has been more marketable then winky
6: hbo wants to get their money back and then some.........

i like winky but these are some of the reasons why i think taylor is going to win, and why i'm going to pick taylor to win, outside of actually fighting.
but i don't care either way, i just want to see a great performance by the winner, either way.
but i think taylor takes the first fight...........rematch already set and in the works......

Thats all well and good, but it was a fair decision no matter how you slice it.
