Heavyweight Terry Smith (27-1-1, 18 KOs) punished journeyman Dennis McKinney (25-40-2, 12 KOs), finally trapping McKinney in a corner forcing the referee to administer an eight count at 1:25 of round eight. McKinney's corner then asked that the beating be stopped.

even though this guy was a bum, terry smith is still a pretty solid fighter. i have seen a couple of his fights and he's no pushover.

Agreed, Smith is a solid HW and should be considered for better quality opponents.
