I think he means when the fight is signed he'll see him face to face. The fight wasn't signed before so he wasn't into it as it amounted to nothing but hype.

The Robot is malfunctioning! Didn't Wilder wan't a little "face to face" for some good ole' "professional" hype!? Whats boxing without the hype(?), for the fans to size up the rivals & to actually see them sharing a ring! The intention of boxing is to "fight," to render your opponent unconscious. With that said, all types of mental psych out games come into play that only face to face encounters can bring.

No REAL opponent is gonna stay quiet watching The Robot "professional"ly from afar like the AJ fan-girls do!
