Rocky Martinez coming off two back to back wars to Salido

      Walters one year lay off

      Salido he lost

Only good fight he had was Gary russel Jr.

Dude needs to move up to he finally did but so late, he needs to fight Linares, Garcia and if he wants to be in history books tbud at 147. Needs to take a risk instead of being protected or given flawed opponents
He came off a year and half layoff and been begging a rematch ever since.

LOL Loma fighting T Bud would be like Duran fighting Hearns, or Foster fighting Ali ie a true size mismatch.

        Bud walk around 175 ffs.

You should cut that crap of Loma being protected, like you stated he lost to Salido fighting him in his second pro fight, that's the very opposite of being protected.

I see all the people finding excuse of one year lay off for Walters, but haven't heard about the one year lay off Gamboa had before facing Crawford from the demographic.

Yeah, Linares flaw is his jaw, but as far as I can tell, he never got ouboxed, kinda like Amir Kahn.

But Loma isn't really bringing hard punches at 135 just volume and a bit of snap. I don't think he will bring a one punch ko threat.

Linares is a 3 division world champion he has a lot of experience, much more than Loma as a pro.

So outboxing Linares will be a really tough task.

He should overwhelm Linares past the sixth, but he won't be winning the first half of the fight IMO.

No, no, it won't be an easy fight for Loma. It will be more like the Russel Jr. fight.
At least I will be extremely (pleasantly, though) surprised if Loma wins easily.

Hopefully after he beats Linares in what i think will be a very good boxing match he doesnt start finding it hard to get good fighters to fight him.
It would be a shame if Loma was ducked in his prime when he wants the toughest fights to get.

Its an interesting fight (though I still favour Loma to win) stylistically it could be a difficult fight because Linares is technically good, has very fast hands and has a height and reach advantage.

I would say GGG and Pednelo also.

Loma fought good opponents but his last 2 were guys 1 and 2 weight classes lower. I'm sorry but I can name a few that has fought better competition.

*** add Trout even though he lost....Charlo, Hurd, Charlo and talk about size difference????
