Not because he was throwing and landing though. Taylor was moving backwards for no reason most of the fight.

after the 8th taylors power was not really a factor. he could of won it, but he used to much energy in the first couple of rounds

Its tough to say that Wright controlled the action when Taylor threw a LOT more punches.

I thought round 3 was a clear round for Taylor as well. I gave Wright 1 and 2, Taylor 3, Wright 4 and 5, Taylor got 6, 7 for Taylor, 8 for Wright, 9 was dead even...could have gone either way, 10 for Taylor, 11 & 12 for Wright.

To be fair a good amount of those punches were not landing though. Winky was walking him down and jabbing him to death and was pushing him back into the corners. Wink also took Taylors jab away.

i thaought that winkys accuracy is what pressed the action. he threw a lot of punches but many were blocked

Never said they were, but throwing punches and pressing the action go hand in hand.

Wright threw about 5 punches in round 12.
                    He did nothing.
                    ESPN got it right.
                    Scored for Taylor by default.

Wright landed twice as many shots as Taylor in round 12, unless I'm insane...

Punchstat number anyone? I remember Wright jabbing and confusing Taylor, Taylor throwing a flurry in the middle of the round in which a couple of punches got through, then a big period of nothing, then Wright punctuating the round with a very clean straight left that snapped Taylors head back.

                      What'd you see?
