At that point he's undisputed champion and broke the record
Not sure he would care to keep all the titles anymore. Then he fights Canelo for whatever belts he still has. WBC I'm sure won't be stripping him, neither will WBO.

Then he fights at 168 vs Groves or Smith whoever wins that one. Maybe a Zurdo fight, then retirement .

Are folks really counting the interim WBA title for a defenses run?

I'm not against Murata as he's a solid fighter, but there are so many guys ahead of him now, I doubt he gets a chance in 2018, or ever. Golovkin's not immortal. If he gets through Jacobs/Charlo/Derev/BJS/Canelo2/Murata, that's a borderline ATG resume. Those dudes are no joke.

Personally I'd rather see GGG go after BJS, Jacobs and Charlo.

Even tho I hate his style, Saunders is the only one that makes sense right now.

besides saunders he's probably the next best. not sure how guys like andrade and charlo are ranked above him. that makes no sense to me. seems like american bias more than anything. murata tko's a faded ggg at this point so probably won't happen
