Oh it was an awesome card to go watch, especially for $60 5th row tickets. I hadn't actually heard of Joey Spencer before Friday, so that was another little added bonus getting to see him.

The Venue itself exceeded my expectation too. The Amory is a cool place for events that size.

UPSET.But lets give this headlines because this guy is a middleweight, so what if hes fighting a bum, so what if this is a mismatch?! OH the fight was on ESPN? at five in the morning tho? ok, but its really about the fact that hes a potential GGG opponent isn't it?

I thought this place was about boxing, not even a report about the fact that Higa lost the WBC title on the scale...boxingscene take this L!
I believe there was a report on the weigh-in issue yesterday, but nonetheless the fight attracted very little interest despite being a high level championship fight. Damn shame IMO.

I was THRU <---Spelled Correctly!) after I saw "Heavyweight Writer"

I just seen a thread posted by a member, I was talking about official threads by this site, it was not even admitted to the mainpage; so boxingscene gets not credit from me -- and look there still isn't a thread about it.
