Cmon canelo, if youre gonna cheat, at least know how to correctly hide it when you get tested, Pacquiao fought using peds since his fight with David Diaz and beat up bigger men using steroids but he never got caught because he refused drug testing using the very believable excuse of "being scared of needles", try something similarComment

This might not be far from the truth. If Clenbuterol is typically found in Mexican meat then it would follow that meat eating Mexican fighters would test positive for it. The difference with Canelo is the transformation his body has undergone over the last couple of years. Fighters increase stamina with cardiovascular exercise. Increased aerobic exercise doesn’t produce the increased muscle mass Canelo has shown in his last few outings. A blind man can see it. Not sure why people are skirting the obvious.Comment

Well then that's a bad look for Mexican boxing. Not in the sense of financial earning or popularity but in terms of boxing standards, Canelo is not a great example. Diva like behavior/thinks he's bigger than boxing, seemingly multiple corrupt score cards, relinquishing a belt to avoid a mandatory, testing positive for a banned substance, and then pulling out of a fight before the hearing are all black eyes for canelo and Mexican boxing.Comment

World Boxing Council President Mauricio Sulaiman does not believe the ongoing drug testing controversy will affect the superstar career of Saul "Canelo" Alvarez. Canelo is under a temporary suspension, from the Nevada State Athletic Commission, after testing positive for the banned substance clenbuterol in two separate tests that were taken back in February.
