This makes me happy even though I voted for Higa. There's a definite sense of justice served here.

Only sad thing here is that there wasn't enough interest to do a pick 'em for this fight, cos it would have made a great addition IMO.

This is the second time this year that a world champion has lost his title on the scale in Japan, you would want to be the last Japanese fighter to lose it like that just after Luis Nery gets banned failing to honor the weight limit ( among other disgraceful things. )

Daigo has shamed the great legacy of Japanese boxing and the WBC flyweight title. I was a fan.

i just watched, i missed a war for sleeping (it was in the morning here) tremendous fight from rosales. i still don't get the stoppage. although higa seemed like he was gonna get stopped soon he didn't seem compromised in the moment of the stoppage
