I'm not even a Joshua fan, but wilders team slacked at building him as a true Aside star. That's just the truth, and if he wants ppv % than he needs to prove he can actually sell ppvs.
Ydksab, Lmmfao. I've listened to guys like you talk all of my life. This right here shows exactly why ydksab lmao.

This is the Pac lover in you who slid over to Joshua because of Floyd lol... Don't worry, Pac didn't sell ppvs in the beginning either, but somehow he became a consistent ppv draw. You don't know how negotiations are going. You're just another bandwagon Joshua Try Hard.

Not being on ppv doesn't hurt him clown lmao. Somehow you think that it does lol. Nobody knows what the fight can generate in America. And why is Joshua who is the A side and fighting at home possibly giving a flat fee? You have no answer since Pac didn't take Floyd's flat fee when Floyd was the A side.

Pac got ktfo on the biggest stage so I don't know if Wilder will match him in the "being knocked out" department, but anything can happen right?.. lmao...

How does it diminish the value of either fighter pursuing the most they can make?

Wilder's ability to draw would only matter if Wilder had some large group of fans that would come to see him fight no matter whom he fought and if they were exclusive to him alone. But the fact that he does not have a gigantic separate fan base, does not prevent Joshua's fans from buying the fight. So wilder's position does not give him more value but it does not diminish his value to Joshua either.

If you are Joshua you may want those fans to be yours alone in profit but if you are Wilder you will make the point that you are still 50% of the reason why the fans show up. If you really think about this point carefully you realize that the one situation that would give Joshua the right to claim the draw percentage is his alone, is if Wilder did/does something to diminish his value as an opponent: So if they both fight someone in the interm and Wilder loses to Whyte for example this might cause some of Joshua's fans not to have an interest in the fight. Joshua would not be in this same position because he still is the fan base, if he lost a fight in the interm it would not matter as much, if at all, on this point because Wilder never contributed to the fan base in the first place.

The spoils of beating Klitsko have been priced into the equation that is what the belt is and that is the result of Klitsko as a European fighter endorsing Joshua as the next champion. Wilder's biggest value to Joshua is that most pundits feel that Joshua will win this fight if he is careful and stays away from the big punch. In today's climate with 3 less rounds in a championship fight, with bigger gloves, etc the boxer puncher has a built in advantage against the big puncher. So Joshua has great odds to pick up all the belts and become a superstar who can claim unified status.

It would be very different if there was a feeling that Joshua is on shaky ground going into this fight. If this fight happens Joshua will be the favorite, this board will show on a pol that most reasonable fans think Joshua will win the fight and unless
wilder manages to do something that defies the odds that is probably going to be what happens on fight night...Joshua's team knows this as well.

Not saying that Wilder could not suprise, just saying this is how Vegas thinks, this is also how value is determined when negotiated in a contract.
Very good post. He won't have a real rebuttal, lmao.

You tryIng to make it sound like he ducked Ortiz or something lol.

AJ has a more impressive resume by far despite going pro much later than wilder, give it a break.
AJ fought 41 year old 16 month layoff Wlad and Parker. Wilder fought Stiverne and Ortiz. Foh with your try hard assumption, lmao.
