That is exactly what the issue is. Let's just say for example the HBO budget is only $1.5m. GGG wants 1.25 for sure, but Sergiy thinks he should get more than 250k. Which, if we're being honest, he should be paid more to fight GGG. But Lou is so deadset on the belt that he's not looking out for his fighter's pockets and/or well being.

Lets be honest, GGG dance partner got caught with PED's and he still wants to fight on May 5th. He will attempt to find someone he can afford to pay with the money HBO will give him to work with on short notice then go on to fight Canelo in a rematch for 15 million.

GGG should let them strip him of the belt. It was never about the belts. It has always been about money for GGG. Who really cares if he has a four belts, it's not like he beat any top fighter for them. WBC belt was given to him after stripping a JrM, Beat an weak fighter in Lemieux for the IBF, and was given the WBA title after they stripped Geale. GGG, his trainers and promoters know GGG could lose to any of the top fighters and rather take an easy fight to cash in with Canelo again.

this is the third time that Golovkin could have made that fight..... but he passed, AGAIN!!
