GGG team should be ashamed of even thinking of such an opponents (Martirosyan, Munguia, O`Sullivan) at this stage of GGG career. This is damaging to GGG reputation and will enrage true boxing fans.
GGG seems to be stuck with his promoter and managers. His career could`ve been so much greater had he an established and influential promoter behind him. Loeffler can be a good guy, but he is featherweight at promotion.

The dude he been going on and on about wanting to unify yet him and his team are content with taking with a BS fight and hoping they can that Canelo money in Sept. HBO won't allow Andrade and BJS is hurt, Martirosyan was only beaten 3 times on points by super elites Lara, Charlo and Andrade. In the end, when your opponent withdraws you can only get the guys that are available short notice.

I don’t think he chose to be retired more of a case of Once Vanes cried about the number fights he was getting under Haymon he went to King who can’t get anyone in his stable
Fights today unless their a B side underdog.

Lemieux is irrelevant in the current scene. While GGG is a face of modern boxing and should be true to his credo - to pursue the best fights out there. And there are a lot of options that are far better than what Loeffler trying to present. When nobody wanted to fight GGG I could understand the poor choice of opponents, but now there is a bunch of solid guys available. Any lesser opponent is damaging to G reputation and killing all the hard-earned hype.

The way Loeffler and the whole team GGG speak and behave is like they want Canelo to be available in September. So once again... wtf was the purpose behind that rant/outburst making wild accusations about corruption in the sport? is six months in timeout enough to appease GGG that justice was served? this guy is a fckn clown and an unapologetic whore for Canelo.

The ONLY reason they're pursuing Vanes is to not take a risk for a potential Canelo fight down the line. If GGG wasn't such a money hungry groupie he would make his own legacy without Canelo in mind and take a fight fans would be interested in.

Canelo, even in suspension, is dictating and managing GGG like a sock puppet.

Who is Golovkin going to get on short notice? BJS is out, HBO rejected Andeade, everyone else is talking but nobody is really ready. Loeffler, like him or not is looking for a stay busy fight and a war in September for 15 million.

Golovkin is old, his style has a short shelf life like Ricky Hatton. The vultures waited for him to get old and now that he is they all want to fight him. The fans want him to be 25 but he only has a few fights to make what he can because he needs to get out and doesn't have any other skills.
