No one really cares outside the hardcore fans, and sadly that is not a big group in boxing. This fight isn't going to register on the radar. There wasn't a fight GGG was left with once Canelo dropped out that was going to be a blip on the radar.

They'll tune in if Golovkin fights Canelo. That will draw big again and then a fight against Saunders would do okay. A fight against Jacobs maybe about the same.

This fight sucks but it is meaningless. I don't think anyone likes it. I'm a fan of Golovkin and it sucks but I'm not going to get all worked up about it. Lots of the haters of course are. They've expressed more outrage with Golovkin than they do with Canelo who is the guy who f'd up everything. Tells you all you need to know about the hater crowd. These are the same type of turds who get more upset with the police than they do with the thugs who commit the crimes.
