    Expect A Lawsuit From GGG/K2

There's a reason Gomez of all people was offering up replacements like Spike and had Sulaiman justifying it. They are reeling.

If GGG took the spike fight, then he can no longer sue for damages.

Now he can sue for the entire amount of damage. Wilder got his entire purse of 4.5 million.

this is an open and shut case for team GGG.

GBP can sue him for defamation for his needle marks comments. GGG will be asked to provide proof of these marks... There is none.

I doubt they'll go that route considering they still want the Canelo fight. A Lawsuit would just complicate things that much more. If anything, if he gets a year suspension I'd "maybe" look into a Lawsuit but if its a slap on the wrist and Canelo can fight later in the year they're likely going to go about rescheduling the fight.

Boxing fans should be able to sue both these knuckleheads for ruining our F'n weekend.

yeah right nothing from Loeffler's statements from day 1 has pointed to him filing a lawsuit. lol Hell me makes comments like he works for Golden Boy not GGG. He was bent over last year in negotiations and continues to be going forward. Just yesterday he again released statements saying they still want to fight Canelo as soon as he's available. Look at the opponents that GGG has been trying to lock up as a replacement and the names of the better fighters who threw their hat in which they refused to consider. If you file lawsuits you kill any future Canelo fight and you move on to make the biggest and best fight possible. Does that sound like what GGG has been trying to do? You don't try and fight Spike, and Munguai if you planning to sue Golden Boy lol

They are not filling anything that's going to jeopardize them cashing out in Sept when the rematch happens. And they are not taking any tough fights that risk a loss or injury that prevents the rematch from happening. They are going to do whatever Golden Boy/Canelo tells them just like they did last year when they backed out the Saunders fight in the summer. And like they did after the first fight sitting out until May. Sure it sounds good to say just screw it and move on but that's cutting off your nose to spite your face. too much money on the table that GGG can't get elsewhere for them to walk away. They are cashing out committed to GGG's retirement plan and that only works if they fight Canelo.

That would make more sense than spending years in Nevada courtrooms paying lawyers.

              Not anymore.

He could if he didn't search high and low for an opponent for the same date after Canelo canceled it. Now, he's canceling the event, after failing to secure an opponent.

Can't have it both ways, and Loeffler isn't competent enough to get him anything.

It looks to me that it was GBP that told Osullivan not to take the fight.
