    That’s not how purses are calculated.

      My calculations have those numbers at 70,452.

      Pretty sure Joshua sells that many tickets in 10 minutes when his fights go on sale in the UK lol.

      Wilder purses

      Ortiz= 2.1 million
      Stiverne 1 = 1 million
      Molina =1.4 million
      Duhappas = 1.4 million
      Szpilka = 1.5 million
      Arreola= 1.4 million
      Washington = 900k
      Stiverne 2 = 1.4 million

      Total of 12.1 million for 8 fights listed there.

      Wilder was set to earn 4.5 million vs Povetkin where he had to go to Russia for the fight.

      Joshua vs Wilder, Wilder offered 12.5 million to go to the UK.

      Eddie Hearn is no idiot. He's putting a number on Wilders value which based on these figures I've listed looks more than fair. This is not Tyson-Holyfield for Christ sakes. It's a huge UK star vs a fairly known American fighter.

        SO WHY DO PEOPLE SAY HE CAN'T DRAW????
        Where have you gotten these numbers from?

        Let's say they are true, is the attendance that great?

        The Legacy Arena holes 17,654 people for sporting event, Wilder v Duwhoever sold less than half the total capacity.

        The Barclay's has a capacity of 19000, there were 6,500 or so tickets that went unsold according to your own numbers for the Szpilka fight.

        Again, the other fights at the Legacy were far from sold out.

        The Stiverne rematch at Barclay's had even fewer people than the Szpilka fight hahahaa

        Can you see how ridiculous your thread seems now?

          When Klitschko was negotiating the first Joshua fight, he should’ve told him that they can’t do the split based on how much the fight generates. And then cap Joshua’s purse because he hadn’t made near amount before.

                Big Tony Bellew sells more tickets than Wilder.

                  They were estimating That fight to make around 55 million prior to it happening. Somehow people think Wilder vs JOSHUA is gonna make 100 million lol.

                  If they estimated the same kind of projection for this fight (more realistic) then they're only offering Wilder around 25% which is low.

                  They should up the offer to around 16 million guaranteed and see if he takes it.

                    I don’t pretend to know how much Wilder should make. Obviously Joshua is the A-side. But I would assume they would base the split on what the fight would generate, not on what they’ve generated in the past.
