Yes please. This fight and Charlo-Jacobs need to happen. Winners can then fight each other or GGG/Canelo, or each other then GGG/Canelo, or BJS. They will have a much better case to demand those fights, both on merit and financially, after those fights. But they have to fight each other first. There are too many challenges all sitting on their thumbs waiting on the same two guys, one old inactive guy, one young inactive about to be suspended guy. It makes no sense. There are way too many of them waiting on far too few dates with GGG/Canelo considering that GGG and Canelo never fight anymore, and when they do they only fight each other or some cab driver so as not to risk fights with each other.

These contenders need to thin out the herd. Then, whoever is last standing will be undeniable to GGG/Canelo. But right now, they can all be denied because they're doing even less than GGG/Canelo are, which is really saying something.

They can have a super six like tournament and GGG fans like you will still say the winner is not worthy.

The idea of "thinning out the herd" is ridiculous. Cuz there are too many fishes in the pond doesn't mean you won't go fishing in that same pond.

GGG and Canelo can pick who they want to fight from that short list of top fighters. Moreover they all seem to want GGG, you know why? Cuz he has loads of belts. Whoever beats him, gets those belts off him and becomes the man to fight IF you want a belt.

This kid is wastinghis career. He should have signed with Haymon when he had the chance. Haymon would have had him in the mix at 154 years ago, he owns that whole division. Now Andrade sits stagnant and chases fights he knows he has no chance of getting instead of staying active.

So you want him to fight the mandatory guy on 3 weeks notice or be stripped. the Situation is similar to when both Klitschkos were title holders.
None of the contenders wanted to risk a payday and kept on fighting overmatched opponents until they got the call for a klitschko fight.

Most guys at that time, lepai, wach, mormeck, Thompson, pulev, Chambers, sosnowski, solis, Johnson wouldnt have earn even a fraction fighting other contenders.
I dont have a source by hand, but I believe the purse for a klitschko fight was upwards 1 mio most of the time.

GGG does NOT have to fight on May 5th! His fight was CANCELLED! He can fight Derevyanchenko on another date, so long as Derevyanchenko is next! Derevyanchenko should not have to wait for GGG to fight Canelo since we don't even know when that might be possible!
