    The GGG May 5th dilemma.

In reality GGG’s potential options for May 5th are terrible. I have no interest in seeing GGG squash Spike O’Sullivan, Munguia, Vanes etc
None of those fights are interesting nor are they valuable paydays to GGG.

At this point would GGG’s team be better scrapping this May 5th fight and looking to negotiate a fight with BJS is June? Warren has talked this up, how plausible it actually is? I’m not sure. But if they were successfully able to make GGG-BJS in a big UK stadium fight this June, it would be a better solution all round IMO. Better for the fighters, better for the division and better for the fans. Plus it would very likely be a better option financially considering how well GGG drew over here against Brook.

I agree. I think GGG is just chompin at the bit to fight
After being in training for a whole camp and with the Canelo saga i dont think he cares too much who he fights he just wants to throw some leather.
I do agree though that may 5th is done. He needs to unify now.

Gggirl is waiting until Ca$hnelo hearing.

If it is 6 month suspension they will fight in September.

If it's 1 year or longer Gggirl moves on.

Nobody cares about May 5th as he's just going to fight another cab driver. 18th is important to find out how the fall of 2018 will shape up

I take it this didn't pique your interest enough to make a trip? LOL.

Yeah it's a trash fight whoever is selected. Selfishly I'd rather just see a fight and Chocolatito on the card since Stub Hub is so close to me and GGG get a few rounds in and then hopefully get Saunders in August or September if possible.

It's probably the least interesting date pencilled in on the calendar though.

No, it won't be. Saunders has a fight with murray on june 23rd so no way he'll be ready to fight by ggg anytime soon. So ggg can get paid fighting may 5th and then fight again 3 months later a canelo rematch. He loses a payday by not fighting may 5th.

😭😭😭😭 I’ve got so many FREE tickets to Brook fights in his home city of Sheffield. From someone who was actually at the fight, GGG was the draw.

😂😂When the rematch was originally announced I considered it, but I’ve got a lot of stuff to pay for in the summer so I decided against it, thank god I never as well cause it would be a nightmare trying to get a refund if I booked it as a package type holiday which I usually do.

And fair enough man, if I lived where you lived I’d probably want the same.

It sounds like I won't even get that as gbp have confirmed an espn double header with Ryan Garcia and Spike that night.

Yeah Spike is now completely out of the running, Vanes is rumoured to be the new front runner for the GGG fight now, which is an absolutely shocking fight.
