Didn't AJ say he wants to become undisputed after his snooze fest with parker? So they both want the fight but one side is lowballing the other, makes you think that Anthony "rainman one hunnet" joshua doesnt really want it.

"The contract does not indicate where the fight will take place, when it will take place, or even whether it will be Joshua’s next fight".

I would have to agree with everything you said and very well put I must say.

Everything you said is true but I still think Wilder deserves to make more money to fight AJ in England than he has been offered so far.

            I don't hate him.

I do hate the attitude that anyone who criticises some aspect of a person's behaviour is automatically branded a hater however. That's moronic schoolyard behaviour and worthy of hate and indeed contempt, because it stops any chance of a meaningful debate.

So there are some things I hate, but Wilder ain't one of 'em.

I agree 100%. Although I called that strategy by Hearn I don't think it delivers the fight we want either. I've not covered the purse split argument here however as there's about a dozen other threads where that's being discussed!

                Pretty decent business sense. Imo.
Definitely. I'm all in favour of smart thinking. However it does come at a price. It means that to get the fight with the chump you're going to knock out you need to accept that he took the risks, he claimed the belts and he dictates the terms. Do that and the path is clear to make history in one fight rather than 5.

                Bargain!

I agree and i think if Hearn and AJ are serious about making this fight and make a realistic offer then this fight is on.
I hope Deontay does take less being the b side knowing that if he wins he becomes the a side in a fight in las vegas.
Everyone crossing their fingers to get this fight done otherwise its a total let down for all the fans across the board.

Wilder is the same chicken neck now as the guy knocking out absolute no hopers in the not so distant past. The problem with Deontay Wilder is both Deontay Wilder and Al Haymon. Everyone can understand codling an Olympic gold medalist as they start out fighting soft competition. But the idea that you are being protected in your infancy as a pro is in anticipation that you will make it to the top and take on the elite competition once you arrive to it professionally.
Haymon doesn't see that. Wilder? Honestly who the hell knows what he really thinks. Guy probably would shamelessly slunk out even more if Haymon gave him the green light. Danny Garcia is the same ****ing problem. Everyone needs to understand that Haymon has installed fighters to the throne of champion that do not want to fight the best, are very mediocre and without Haymon would be long gone by now.
Wilder is the A-typical Haymon creation that just sits on the bench in the prime of their career and not only is fine with this lackluster sand bagging of a division but prefers it. Because the latter would mean a high likelihood they would get beat and no longer get to freeze the division.
It's like if someone said, say John Ruiz what if I told you you don't have to fight Tua, Evander, Jones, Lennox or anyone "dangerous" and you could still keep your belt and keep raking in money?

Great thread but who cares about Wilder he is well know to talk rubbish and you can see from his career he has done nothing to unify titles.
