Take note folks - Golovkin holds the majority of the MW belts in the division and is a P4P fighter. The guys who are hungry and are confident of winning, are not crying about money. Derevyanchenko wants a shot because it's a path to stardom.

Let's not forget Andrade. His hand has been up for the longest, and he's the best replacement for the card right now. Andrade isn't big time like that. But if ggg were to beat him on short notice.....it would do a lot for his legacy as he waits for bjs and canelo.

Canelo and Golden Boy are a disgrace. At first I was like I'm team Canelo because I honestly thought he beat GG. Now my whole memory of the fight is tarnished. That cut Canelo. Isit the clebuwhatevada*** that made him win (in my eyes)?.

Seems like a choice is being forced upon Golovkin, either abandon his belts or a multi-million dollar pay day.

Under the circumstances, GGG (anyone for that matter) will go for the 10's of millions and give up the belts. Win and he's the money man (with or without the belts) and lose he still made another 15 million. It's a no brainer

If Golovkin walks from the belts and Canelo refuses to fight the remaining MW's they'll be forced to fight each other for whatever they can generate. I don't see how this plays out any other way, especially After all the noise and demands they've been making.


According to the sanctioning bodies it looks like BJS will be forced to fight Andrade, Devevyanchenko will be forced to fight Charlo and the winner will face Jacobs.

The big showdown for peanuts I expect Devevyanchenkoergiy to get eliminated quick followed by BJS then Andrade and the last men standing should be Charlo VS Jacobs.

Charlo is the mandatory for the WBC, Derevyanchenko is the mandatory for the IBF, and Jacobs is a fight away from being mandatory for the WBC, with Andrade positioned well for the WBO and WBA.

If Golovkin abandons the belts to chase a second shot at a Canelo payday, the focus will move to determining the new champions.

Charlo heads to Texas, Derevyanchenko and Jacobs head to Brooklyn, and Andrade likely has to travel to the UK.

Once you have the four champions, you start the consolidation again; Jacobs and Derevyanchenko are on separate sides, with Charlo and the BJS/Andrade winner facing the two New York champs.

First Spoke was perfect because he was in the Gym and had a fight scheduled for May 4th

This is about money. Weeks ago it was reported and even tweeted out by spike himself that he agreed to all terms and was ready to fight just waiting on GGG to sign the contract. But that was when the fight was still set to take place in Vegas and on ppv. Loeffler knows the ppv will flop and mgm will be half empty so they don't want to risk losing money or embarrassing GGG so they moved the fight to cheap stubhub in cali and it's no longer ppv. So the budget is now smaller with HBO agreeing to help finance the fight. Obviously the terms are different then what spike saw weeks ago and GGG camp likely being cheap trying to give almost the entire budget to GGG and have spike fight for nothing.

But this was a shyt fight that GGG was getting killed for taking in the first place. Remember HBO was refusing to pay for this and only decided in the last hour after ESPN tried to buy it made an offer to finance it on regular HBO so they could move it off ppv. Either HBO offered too little too afford spike or Loeffler being cheap. But if you can't afford to pay a bum like spike how you going to get a quality opponent to in 3 weeks? lol Scrap the date or just fight your IBF mandatory on may 5 who is higher ranked then spike anyway.
