Seems like a choice is being forced upon Golovkin, either abandon his belts or a multi-million dollar pay day.

Under the circumstances, GGG (anyone for that matter) will go for the 10's of millions and give up the belts. Win and he's the money man (with or without the belts) and lose he still made another 15 million. It's a no brainer

If Golovkin walks from the belts and Canelo refuses to fight the remaining MW's they'll be forced to fight each other for whatever they can generate. I don't see how this plays out any other way, especially After all the noise and demands they've been making.


According to the sanctioning bodies it looks like BJS will be forced to fight Andrade, Devevyanchenko will be forced to fight Charlo and the winner will face Jacobs.

The big showdown for peanuts I expect Devevyanchenkoergiy to get eliminated quick followed by BJS then Andrade and the last men standing should be Charlo VS Jacobs.

It can play out by Canelo not fighting Golovkin again or finding an excuse to delay it further if he gets through this with his core Mexican base intact. One scenario I can see is the artificial deadline routine but that might be going to the well one time too often. He could use the I wasn't allowed to train properly and I need to delay. Planning on a fight with these guys GB, is asking to get screwed. Golovkin should ditch Loeffler and concentrate on Saunders. He getting older and has only a couple of good fights left. Loeffler is so incompetent he can't even get through this without making his fighter look bad. If it's G holding out for too much money he needs to sit him down and explain that maintaining the May 5 date will cost you. If the problem is Loeffler Gennady has to bypass him then fire him.

Oh wow...golden boy makes GGG's life difficult. Shocker. Yeah, I feel GGG will not fight anyone on May 5. If Murray could step aside, then Billy and GGG could fight in August. This gives them both a chance to restart training camps and be in form for the unification. Fighting Canelo has become risky - he might be eating meat again and GGG will find himself in the same situation as Klitschko who was inactive for 18 months because of Fury's nonsense (which might have played part in his loss to AJ). Plus it would be fun to finally see the undisputed MW. GGG doesn't need to prove anything IMO, he won the first fight with Canelo.
