Comments Thread For: Bob Arum: We Asked About Airing Golovkin's May 5 Fight on ESPN

Bob Arum was very interested in televising Gennady Golovkin's May 5 fight on ESPN. The Hall-of-Fame promoter confirmed to BoxingScene.com that Top Rank president Todd duBoef called Tom Loeffler, Golovkin's promoter, last week to gauge his interest in moving Golovkin's fight from HBO Pay-Per-View to ESPN. HBO Sports executive vice president Peter Nelson has since offered to televise Golovkin's fight live on HBO, which hadn't been presented as an option when duBoef called Loeffler.

HBO just played Jaime Munguia beating the **** out of Paul Valenzuela Jr on HBO Latino. Literally just saw it 15 minutes ago... Idk if that's a sign of what's to come or what, but damn I'd tear Jessica Rosales' twat up.

Huh? How does this even compare to the Mcgregor - Mayweather circus from last year??? One guy failed a drug test and the other guy is looking for an opponent on short notice. Not quite the same thing as two s**t talking thugs, one of whom was 0-0, going on a press tour that included racism, sexism, yelling back and forth, and some weird Voltron formation of a few juice heads.

If no Teddy Atlas at ESPN it means nothing.

This is it's own special kind of circus starring the main clown Tom "Cuckold" Loeffler and his amateur hour way of being a promoter. Cancelo the PED clown and now add Peter the clown Nelson to the list when he didn't want to pay to broadcast Golovkin's fight at first but now that ESPN and Top Rank came into the picture, all of a sudden he wants to buy the fight for HBO now.

Lol, a bunch of clowns in a circus right now getting exposed. It's quite comical to see their comedy of errors on amateur hour.

He still doesn't have an opponent. What's the point? Unless they are trying to do an catch weight with zuro.
