AJ made more money against Parker than Wilder's 40 pro purses combined.

Khan got 13 million for fighting Canelo in a much smaller non title fight. If he offers Wilder a 65/35 split in his favor that might be a reasonable offer. Whenever the A side offers the B side a flat fee instead of a percentage on these monster fights it's rip off time. Mayweather tried to rip off Pacquiao with a flat fee and Oscar tried to rip off GGG with a flat fee. Pacquiao and GGG made much more money by refusing the flat fee that was way too low. Wilder should also refuse. Just because Wilder said he doesn't care about the money doesn't make it true. Of course he cares about the money. He fights for a living and wants to get fairly paid and he should be fairly paid. 12.5 million is not fair pay for this huge fight with Wilder's title on the line.
Absolutely no way is Joshua getting $48-50m for this fight.

I'd imagine the offer is something like $12.5 for Wilder and about $27.5m for Joshua. I fully expect after a few weeks, maybe months of back and forth they'll agree on something like $24m for Joshua and $16m for Wilder.

It will be a long negotiation and a boring one but it will get done.

Wilder talk to Espinoza and have guarantee the fight will be on Showtime PPV and counter Hearn's offer by accepting the flat fee of 12.5 mil but he gets to keep all of the US PPV revenue since Hearn and AJ want to keep all the UK revenue. Even if the fights sells at least 300k at $70, that's 21 mil from PPV. That would leave Wilder with an extra 9.5 mil after Showtime and cable providers take their cut. Wilder could make up to 22 milliion that way. But I doubt Hearn would agree to that, and why would Wilder accept Hearn's offer when there's no date, site or if its guaranteed next.

Joshua could make that much if Hearn's puts that fight on in the UK. Joshua already makes close to 20 million fighting there and this fight will generate a lot more money than any other fight he takes. Delay the start time of the PPV by and hour or two and the starting time in the US could be around 5 or 6 pm ET, allowing Showtime to put it on PPV. The fight can get another 21-35 million (before cable providers take half) after it sells between 300-500k US PPVs at $70. Factor in the US sponsorship along with TV rights around the world. However, there is no way Wilder should take a flat fee and allow AJ to take any of the US revenue

AJ made £20 million/$28.4 million in the Parker fight. You think Wilder has made more than that?
