Weren't Wilder fans crucifying GGG for not accepting a 10 million flat fee?

But I'm honest, that'a a horrible offer and Wilder should not be in the same position as GGG in the negotiations as Canelo.

lol we just want to see the fight.
What's the alternative for Wilder, fight some nobody with no belts for 2.5 million?

I'd be interested to see what precedent they're using. Once Kevin Iole writes on its "expected revenue" then I'll know it's legit.

That number is still very surprising to me.
Yeah a reliable source would do some good here but if that 100 mil has any merit Hearn should slap himself for such a disrespectful offer. Wilder has been putting up some good numbers like u said and going to his fights are absolutely insane!! The whole Barclays Centers was going bonkers when he faced Ortiz. Wilder is actually a pretty big draw because just as many people come to see him lose as they do to see him win, a watered down version of Mayweather in a sense.
A lot of people in the UK say he sucks and has no technique and this that and the third but guess what? They tune in at 5am their time to watch him. Hate him or love him, he has drawing power.

Nice try, it says 50-100 and possibly more.

So lets go with your 50, that is 24%

It's funny you bring up the atmosphere at Barclays and Mayweather. Because that's exactly what I was thinking when I was at his last two fights (Ortiz and Stiverne). Reminded me of Atlantic City when Floyd beat Gatti.

If he actually gets AJ in the ring and beats him, who knows what happens with the US boxing scene. Again, I want to hear more about these "projections".

Wilder = Zero PPV buys. Highest gate below $2 million.
Does AJ vs Wilder get 400k buyrate in the USA?

                you have a point...

There's more similarities there than I first realised between the GGG and Wilder situations

I still think GGG has, or had, more "star-power" somehow. Not trying to rip on Wilder here, I just don't think he's been too hot on the promotional side of things, whether that's his fault personally or just bad management

Simply disrespectful to the undefeated American heavyweight CHAMPION of the world who is the main reason why this fight is even talked about in the first place!

Wilder pretty much promoted this fight by his damn self and now they want pay him in crumbs outta their lying and cowardly pockets!?

Anyone with business sense can understand this is a blatant duck, they know Wilder won't take this!

This is more like a 95-5 or 87-13 split!

I definitely didn't expect a flat fee in the conversation for the UNDISPUTED heavyweight championship!

They're banking on Wilder being desperate, AJ isn't built from the molds of great heavyweights, too much of a diva and pampered!

This fight would do huge numbers in the UK and UK ppv. But that flat rate offer is crap.
