For me i would prefer some of the more untested type HWs. Stephen Shaw, Darmani Rock, Trey Lippe, Cassius Chaney ect. I doubt we would ever see real prospects though, they would use guys that are more desperate like Joey Abell, Kevin Johnson, Michael Grant because im sure it would be easier to sign them.

      Great Picks...

I definitely don't want to see any guys who had their day and are past it now.

Trey Lippe Morrison would be Perfect for this show along with 15 other Young American Heavyweights who are hovering between 50 and 200 on Boxrec.

This would be my Line-Up having a nice mix of Black and White Boxers.

      1. Trevor Bryan - 19-0
      2. LaRon Mitchell - 16-0
      3. Trey Lippe Morrison - 14-0
      4. Joe Cusumano - 14-1
      5. Jermaine Franklin - 16-0
      6. Cassius Chaney - 12-0
      7. Jean Pierre Augustin - 17-0-1
      8. Justin Jones - 21-0-2
      9. Gregory Corbin - 15-0
      10. Stephan Shaw - 9-0
      11. Darmani Rock - 11-0
      12. Jerry Forrest - 18-2
      13. Scott Alexander - 14-2-2
      14. Mike Balogun - 11-0
      15. Jeremiah Karpency - 15-1-1
      16. John Wesley Nofire - 20-1

Doesn't matter if the Winner becomes a World Champion or not, at least we get to see some fresh young Heavyweights battling it out.

I get your guys position but I just don't think its realistic. While I don't know any of these guys outside of Tommy Morrison's kid and that guy who was mentioned as an opponent for Big Baby any of these guys who are worth anything are going to have promotional deals with some big players. No way they let those guys participate in something as risky as this when they could easily go the traditional route of building them up by fighting club fighters, tomato cans, has beens and never was until they get a title shot. I think at least a third of the guys in the show are going to be the well known dinosaurs.

I'm excited for this. They have two world class trainers for the teams and Andre Ward will make for a very thoughtful and knowledgeable host.

I would definitely approve of that being the cast. Would make for some fun fights especially with the limited rounds.

I guarantee most, if not all of those guys are not tied to any major promoter including Trey Lippe so they would have nothing to lose entering this competition especially when the Prize money could be any where between $250-500k for the Winner.

Most of these guys will never come close to making money like that.

                    Thats what i was thinking.

Around 8 of those guys are just Cannon Fodder but at least we'll get some nice KO's in the First round and then in the Quarter Final we'll start getting some Competitive bouts and the Final should be very nice.

Like i said before, i don't want guys who have had their chance or ageing heavyweights refusing to retire.

I disagree. Heavyweight is a glamour division and the route to a title shot is short. Any young guy worth their salt is not going to allowed to risk their position by taking this on. Look at the other three seasons. There were some quality guys there but never once was their a true blue-chip prospect. Hell, the most successful guy to come out of any of the three seasons was Sergio Mora and its not even close.
