You have to realize that Wilder is also offering AJ the chance to make more money than he could facing anyone else in the world not named Floyd Mayweather and the opportunity to unify the belts at the same time. Pretty good deal for him to walk away from as well. 60-40 in Joshua's favor is more than fair.
This is something you don't seem to recognise:
This is simple: Wilder had a title before Joshua and Fury has lineage, not Joshua. So to me, they're both equal in terms of world standing even though Joshua has more belts. The very fact that Wilder was a champion prior to Joshua and Anthony didn't beat the man who beat the man, etc...makes this an even fight
Also if Wilder demands 40% it may well not be the most lucrative fight for AJ. You underestimate just how much revenue AJ can make fighting others. Mandatories obviously, but also some of the UK fighters that would guarantee interest in his key home market whilst taking a share that whilst lucrative reflects where the earning power lies.
In any case even if the fight is the most lucrative, it's hardly a step change in earnings for AJ as it would be for Wilder, because he's already in a higher division commercially.Comment

He's offering one belt. The only reason it's a unification is that AJ holds the others. He's done precisely nothing to unify other than run his mouth off about it. AJ on the other hand has fought the fights and paid for the belts.
This is something you don't seem to recognise:
Nonsense. Wilder has done little to either unify or even enhance the status of the belt he took from Stiverne. These are the rankings of the guys he's defended his title against: 38,13,14,37,32,14 and his one creditable opponent,5. In that same time Josha fought: 15 (for title)25,22 (Haymon mandated)1 (WK unification) 9 (mandatory) 4 (unification). The difference is stark and if you can't recognise it I suggest you're allowing bias to cloud your judgment.

It takes two to tango, which is what you fail to recognize.Comment

I do however understand just where Hearn and AJ are coming from. They're listening to a guy trashing them. A guy who has in reality done far less in a much longer time other than preserve his 0 and KO record against second and third rate opposition.
I'll give you Stiverne 1 as a credible scalp, although I have my doubts about any King matchup. The fat mess he knocked out last autumn had no business being in a boxing ring.
Oh and nice try, but he didn't try to fight Povetkin. He was ordered to as a mandatory defence, he lost the purse bid and as soon as he saw a chance of avoiding via the PED test he was out of Russia faster than a Mig 29.
He's a great talker Wilder but the reality rarely lives up to the hype. 40 fights, 8 defences and we're now saying 2 top level opponents. 0 attempts to unify, no Wlad on the resume, nothing but a lot of talk. I don't think he particularly deserves 35% based on what he's done with his belt, but I wouldn't begrudge him a percentage deal and the respect due a fellow champion risking his health in the ring.Comment

In what way do I fail to recognise? Personally I'd give Wilder 35% and get the fight on and over with. I'm bored of all the nonsense already.

He better make a better deal! You want Wilder to cross the pond and give him chump change? Sweeten the deal.
The Bronze Bomber has 40 wins with 39 KO's and is the WBC Champion.
Joseph Parker lost the WBO title to Joshua. He was at 24 wins, 18 KO's, 1 loss!
So how do you guys figure Parker is deserving a better deal than Wilder?
I can't see it? Not according to they both fought! Wilder has faced the better opponents.
AJ has 3 legit titles now and is the bigger star.Comment

If only the boxers get paid all of the revenue then that's a great deal AJ and Wilder have. I don't know how anyone else is in business.Comment
