Manny was a star in his own right selling over 1 mil PPV in his career.

Wilder has sold zero PPV and only had 1.2 mil viewers in a non PPV vs Ortiz...

Wilder is being offered 5 times his last headliner show agaisnt Ortiz...

Manny was offered a deal LESS than double his last fight so no he should not have taken it.

Wilder is being offered 5 times his last fight so yes he should take it.

What is a better deal? An offer of 1.6 times your last fight or 5 times your last fight?
The point was that Manny forced a % of the revenue, knowing what it was worth a lot more than 40 million and wound up getting close to 200 million.

WILDER WOULD BE AN IDIOT TO TAKE THIS OFFER. PERIOD. I'M DONE WITH ARGUING WITH YOU IDIOTS.

Its a cheap lowball offer. End of story. 2 more mill than what Parker got for a fight that's surely gonna blow that out of the water.

Even if the “take it or leave it” offer wins the poll enough fans have spoken.

It's negotiation. Anybody that thinks Hearn should come out with an offer like $16m (almost twice Parker's purse) is either naive or hasn't really been following the sport or business in general for long. Not saying that's the case with you I am just saying it's common practice.

For a big fight the original offer will always be "low" just as the demand from the other side would be unreasonably high such as Wilder's "50-50" or no fight stance. He said he's willing to bend on that now just as Hearn will bend on this.

I'd say Wilder will end up getting $15-16m and the fight will be signed but maybe in a few months. Certainly before the end of the year but I wouldn't be surprised if they both fight interim fights while the promoters keep up this hyping the fight.

If Mayweather offered Pacquiao 6x (120+ mil) he was already making would Pacquiao have taken it?
