You'd think that a boxing fan would know that Canelo and GBP approached Mayweather with the 152 catchweight. Let's not let facts get in the way of Mayweather bashing though.

I guess fighting at a catchweight disqualifies you from having an opinion on weather any other fight should be at a catchweight. I never knew!!!!!

Golden Boy ask for the fight at 152 after going to the media and telling them they would be willing to come down to 150. Let's not change the facts of a past situation in order to make an argument.

If, if was a fifth, we'd all be drunk. You can't pass judgment on some hypothetical scenario. GBP first mentioned 150, Mayweather informally said he'd accept 150. Then GBP said, I know we originally said 150, but what about 152. Mayweather happily accepted.

This was not a fight that had to happen and GBP and Canelo were asking for the fight. The difference with AB situation is that he is asking Vargas to for the fight at the catchweight. Further, Broner has fought multiple times and actually made the welterweight limit. Mayweather, even for his 154 fights, hasn't weighed over 151.

I agree with Mayweather on this but Vargas will win anyway in my opinion. He trains harder and fights harder and has more heart and will to win than Broner. He was fighting at 140 not so long ago so 144 shouldn't be a problem for him.
