the 12th went to winky mainly because of the shot he landed just b4 the bell it was the best shot of the 12th round....winky landed cleaner better shots but not much sting, but just because he doesn't have as much power as JT doesn't mean his punches should count for less. Jt won most of his rounds on flash,not substance. i don't blame winky for not wanting a rematch,i'm disappointed, but i don't blame.....him he's been robbed of victories to many times. winky dictated this fight with his outstanding defense and his outstanding jab. jt was hitting nothing but glove with those power shots,had he gotten through cleanly with those shots winky would have been looking up at the ref. i had winky winning...just my opinion.

This was a ****ing close fight, no one clearly won. I had it 115-113 for Taylor, but I don't have a problem if someone scored it 115-113 for Wight or a draw.

Well, you're entitled to your opinion; but I thought Winky CLEARLY beat Taylor.

I was at the fight and heard no commentary and will watch a tape of it my friend taped simply because there is such a disparity of opinions; but Taylor simply did not score enough to win the fight in my opinion, laid in the corners too much, got caught with many punches and most of his shots were caught by Winky's guard. Winky was the aggressor, Taylor fought in spurts, Winky dictated the pace and brough the fight to Taylor from round 2 on with a couple of exceptions.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Now, while I did have the final tally of 117-112..that's 8-3-1 for Wright, I am willing to admit the first 4 rounds were very hard to judge. However, starting with round 5 on, I considered it easy to tell who won which round base on the aforementioned observations.

...Wow, I agree with you more on this than anything you have ever said. A buddy and I concured that many rounds could have gone either way and it was all extremely subjective. I had it 115-113 for Taylor and he had it 114-114. Nobody should be bitching about robberies or a horrible decision on either end.
