Will Wilder Accept AJ's Offer or Reject and Duck?

Now we know Wilder's team will be imminently receiving an offer, will Wilder accept and fight or reject and duck?

He'll duck. He just wants to act like he wants the fight. Anything 30%+ is more than fair for Wilder when Joshua draws 10x the revenue.

The suggestion is that the proposal is:

65% Joshua 35% wilder in uk

Rematch depending on who wins, location preferred US by tbc:

      Joshua 50% wilder 50%
      Joshua 75% wilder 25%

That seems pretty fair to me. If wilder does quibble there is only so many days before Joshua has to take on povetkin. It will be his biggest pay day by far and he gets two pay days and two shots and winning all the belts.

He would be foolish to turn it down but I think he will as he will want more. Could well end up delaying the fights to next year if he does.

If Wilder gets 35%, he better agrees to it or all this will be for nothing. But I feel he will agree to it, problem is Wilder wants the reverse to be the case if he wins the fight and a rematch is needed by Joshua. That won't happen and shouldn't cuz Joshua is and will still be the bigger draw no matter how Wilder destroys him in the first fight.

Wilder is all silent now that Joshua has made an actual offer to fight...that should tell you enough about bombsquads real intentions

If these terms are correct, Wilder should take it. It seems fair. Somehow I reckon there's issues we haven't heard about yet, but these should be the major parameters.

I prefer a Wilder fight, but PEDvetkin would suffice if it doesn't work out. If AJ takes on someone else, he's the duck.

                  That's a fair deal.

I don't know whether psychologically they'd feel like they had to win some further concession. Maybe a greater rev share from US income etc. But really, if that's on the table they should just take it and get on with building the fight.

I hope that Wilder's talks about the splits for the rematch being reversed if he wins is nothing more than negotiation tactics. Because I sure as hell can't see Joshua giving that up.
